Edinburgh is known for: being close to one of the most picturesque cities on earth, Edinburgh is well-known for its historical landmarks, UNESCO World Heritage sites, and extensive past. It is regarded as the best festival city in the world and a center for the literary arts, comedy, culture, elite education, and more. - Can't forget Outlander, My favorite show!

Edinburgh Scotland "Outlander" Tours:

For those of you who don't know what "Outlander" is, it's my favorite show, which I first saw on Netflix. I've probably watched all 6 seasons at least 5 times now. I just adore so much about the show. The time, the setting, the background, the characters, it just grabs my attention. I highly recommend this show for anyone who likes watching shows in a historical setting, romance, and comical scenes. I wouldn't advise letting anyone 18 or under watch it though because there are many "adult" scenes and a good bit of gore involved.

So a little more about the show... It was given inspiration from Diana Gabaldon's best selling books, "Outlander". The main character, Claire Randall, an oxford historian who served as a British Army nurse in World War II, is on her second honeymoon in Scotland with her husband Frank, an MI6 officer. Claire is abruptly taken to the year of 1743 and into a bizarre enviornment where her life and freedom end up in danger. She meets Jamie Fraser, a muscular Scotsman with a troubled background and a charming sense of humor, who she becomes good friends with. And I won't continue, because I don't want to ruin it for the ones who've not seen it yet.

Anywho, I'm drawn to experience all of these at some point in my life, they're all on my bucket list. Wanted to share them with others who may have the same interest in the show as I do.
